Our Dental Office

Serving patients from Iola, KS, and surrounding communities, the team at Ryan Coffield, D.D.S. P.A. are committed to help you and your family improve your oral health and overall wellbeing. Our practice has been committed to providing quality dental and oral hygiene services and procedures to the Allen County area for over 50 years. Dr. Vernon Lee began the dental practice in 1970 and was one of the first in the area to have a dental hygienist on staff.

In 2011, Dr. Ryan Coffield returned to his hometown of Iola shortly after graduating from the University of Nebraska Dental School. Two years following, Dr. Coffield established ownership. Our practice has continued to grow as we fulfill the needs of our area.

Dr. Ryan Coffield, D.D.S.

Dr. Ryan Coffield, D.D.S. is the dentist and owner of the practice. He attended the University of Kansas before studying at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in Lincoln, NE. He began his dental career as a Chief Dental Officer for the Public Health Service. After this rewarding experience, he was happy to move back to his hometown of Iola in 2011.

Dr. Coffield brings his reputation for excellent comprehensive care and attention to detail. Dr. Coffield is committed to providing patients with modern materials and techniques. He feels fortunate to have a terrific dental team to help him treat the patients in this great community.

In his free time, Dr. Coffield can be found enjoying the outdoors with his wife, Ceri, daughters Marin, and Milly.

Diedra Baumwart, Office Manager at Ryan Coffield D.D.S P.A.

Deidra Baumwart, Office Manager

Deidra grew up in Neosho Rapids, KS. Deidra and her husband, Matt, have two boys, Bryce and Hayden. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her sons play baseball, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

She is pursuing a fellowship with American Academy of Dental Office Managers.

Becky Walden, Registered Dental Hygienist at Ryan Coffield D.D.S P.A.

Becky Walden, RDH

Becky graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1987. Her dental career started working in the office of specialists in Periodontics. She was later recruited back to her native Southeast Kansas, where she has been ever since. The dental profession interested her from an early age. Oral health has always been a main priority of hers.

Becky grew up on a farm in Westphalia, Kansas. She has three boys and one granddaughter. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her spare time. Her hobbies include travel, gardening, fishing, and the great outdoors.

Angie Larson, Registered Dental Hygienist at Ryan Coffield D.D.S P.A.

Angie Larson, RDH

Angie’s dental career covers more than 35 years.. She studied Dental Hygiene at Wichita State University. After graduation in 1985, she returned to Iola and began working as a registered dental hygienist. Angie has worked in the dental office her entire dental career. She values and enjoys the relationships developed with patients. She takes pride in helping patients maintain and improve good oral health.

Angie is originally from rural Kincaid, KS. She is married to Mark Larson and lives in rural Colony, KS. They have three adult daughters, three son-in-laws, and six grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys the outdoors, camping adventures, riding her bicycle, and spending time in her vegetable and flower gardens.

Stacy Jones, Dental Assistant

Stacy has been working as a dental assistant for over 22 years. She enjoys working in dentistry and interacting with people. Seeing the smile on a patient’s face after viewing their completed treatment is her favorite part.

Stacy loves spending time with her five wonderful children, husband, and beloved pets in her spare time. She also enjoys camping, gardening, and spending time with friends and extended family.

Angie Luedke, Dental Assistant

Angie has been a part of this dental team since May 2000. She graduated from the dental assisting program at Flinthill technical college in Emporia, KS, in May 2000. She enjoys helping Dr. Coffield make patients feel good about their smiles.

If she is not at work, she is most likely at home spending time with her boys, dogs, cats, and family.
